Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a CNC and Robot CNC Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and programming computer numerical control (CNC) machines and robotic CNC systems to produce high-quality parts and components according to specifications.
Responsibilities (under supervision):
- Set up and operate CNC machines and robotic CNC systems to perform various machining operations.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine machining requirements.
- Program CNC machines and robotic CNC systems using CAM software to generate toolpaths and optimize machining processes.
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and productivity.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines and robotic CNC systems to ensure optimal functioning.
- Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality, making adjustments as needed.
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to troubleshoot issues and implement process improvements.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
Desirable Knowledge & Experience:
- Previous experience as a CNC Operator or Robot CNC Operator in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in operating and programming CNC machines and robotic CNC systems.
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM software for programming and toolpath generation.
