BG Precision specializes in small format CNC and has growing routes in the education sector. We manufacture upgrades such as safety enclosures, Vacuum Tables and full Automatic tool change systems for all our CNC range in house. As BG Precision is a small business the role covers lots of areas which keeps the job interesting from QC Testing, design modifications, fabrication of parts, customer interactions, training and demonstrations. The role would suit somebody mechanically minded with an understanding of electronics and computers.
Qualifications & experience
- Experience with CNC and CAD/CAM software desirable
- Problem solving and decision-making ability
- Self-motivated and ability to work unsupervised
- Mechanical, electronic/electrical principles knowledge
- Detail-oriented approach with ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
Tasks & responsibilities
- QA/Factory testing our CNC machines and products prior to dispatch to customer as per approved procedure
- Preparation of customer orders, packaging, labelling and dispatch
- Support the assembly of our CNC machines and accessories including fabrication, mechanical assembly and electrical fit out as per approved procedure.
- Provide Training, Customer support, Installation, service and troubleshoot CNC machines for new and existing customers
- Take lead on improving the brand awareness with active customer engagement
- Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations
- Build positive relationships with customers and provide customer satisfaction
- Provide feedback and improvements on brand products including testing methods, manuals and documentation
- Take lead and support creation of new social media content to engage with our customers
