The Role:
We are currently seeking an Experienced Coal Haulage Supervisor to join our high performing team. This role is based primarily at a nearby operating Mine site supervising the haulage operations. This is a varied hybrid role working alongside a great team.
You will be required to provide additional duties when required, such as escorting and operating equipment. We currently deliver coal to a variety of mine sites and we need someone who is resilient and can adapt to changing circumstances.
Roster:
The position is offered on a 7:7 day/night roster with periodic travel to other mine sites as required.
Duties will include:
- Coordinate & supervise Coal Haulage activities during shift.
- Ensure compliance with all requirements of the delivery destinations.
- Ensure compliance with all NHVR and road use approvals, including customer Coal Haulage road use approval requirements.
- Complete appointed supervisor roles at Vulcan and the delivery destinations as required.
- Complete and distribute additional shift reports as requested by management.
About the Candidate:
You will hold relevant Mining competencies, along with:
- Minimum 3+ years previous experience working in a coal mine;
- S123 and G2 certificates;
- Loader experience desirable, but not essential (RIIMPO304 certificate);
- Multi Combination drivers licence and RIIVEH301 MC certificate desirable, but not essential;
- Proven leadership, communication and interpersonal skills;
- Strong background in managing coal mining operations and people; and
- Ability to work autonomously and apply strategic thinking toward delivery of business execution strategies.
