As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering projects within time, cost, and quality requirements. You will guide and coordinate with all relevant parties to understand and achieve project objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs), providing day-to-day management and leadership of the project and the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Arrange project technical services and external resources.
- Lead and supervise project teams and stakeholders to achieve project KPIs.
- Update and modify project plans as necessary.
- Manage intermediate tasks and support senior Project Managers to ensure timely and accurate project delivery.
- Monitor project timelines and budgets, highlighting risks and mitigations.
- Ensure robust quality systems are in place and well-managed.
- Participate in meetings, providing analysis and context.
- Actively involve in risk management and mitigation.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with all project parties.
- Procure consultants and contractors to meet client needs.
- Track and formalize project changes within agreed timeframes.
- Ensure approved handover documentation is provided before practical completion.
- Manage design/consultant/contractor teams to ensure project completion.
- Produce or collaborate on project schedules.
- Challenge stakeholders to deliver optimum solutions.
- Proficient knowledge and expertise in the relevant sector.
- Relevant technical qualifications or certifications.
- Sound technical expertise in HSE rules and sector-specific regulations.
- Understanding of consultancy, construction, infrastructure, and property sectors.
- Membership or working towards membership of MCIOB, MAPM, MRICS, MICE, or equivalent.
- Experience in project management roles.
- Experience in the construction delivery phase of projects.
- Tertiary qualifications in project management or construction-related discipline or equivalent professional experience.
