AddressUGL are seeking Coded Welders on a nightshift roster for our exciting new project at Hunter Power Station!
The Hunter Power Project is the construction of a 660MW Power Station comprising of two heavy-duty open cycle gas turbines. Located in the in the Hunter Valley region of New South Wales, 35 km west of Newcastle
About You:
- Ability to work alongside a variety of different trades
- Read and interpret welding procedures and drawings supplied by a supervisor or client representative
- Follow written and/or verbal instructions provided by a supervisor client's representative
- Care and maintain tools and equipment necessary to carry out all tasks
- High attention to detail and ability to work well within a team environment
- Oil and Gas experience is preferable
Key Requirements:
- Trade qualified and able to weld Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Super Duplex and all other exotic materials
- Pass a weld test prior to start
- Experienced and competent in Pipe Welding to ASME IX, AS 4041 and AS2885 Exposure to AS 3992
- 100% Xray quality work
- Construction White Card - (Mandatory)
- Work Safely at Heights (Desirable) - Valid within last 2 years
- Enter and Work in Confined spaces (Desirable) - Valid within the last 2 years
- 3-5 years' experience in a similar role
