About the Role:
RED Appointments has a longstanding relationship with one of Australia's biggest mining contractors. Located at Olympic Dam, our client requires the services of suitably qualified and experienced Coded Welders to work on multiple shutdowns in February & March: Shell repairs, coil refurbishments and major tank repairs.
To be successful in the role you will be driven to succeed and hold the following skills/tickets/background -
• Must be qualified for GTAW, MMAW, GTAW/FCAW (weld tests to be done prior to starting)
• Full Australian Drivers Licence
• OH&S Construction Card
• Confined Spaces
• Working at Heights
• Shutdown/ FIFO experience
• Good Understanding of Safety Standards and Regulations
Please note a full Pre-Employment Medical including a Drug & Alcohol Screen is part of the application process.
