THE ROLE
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, welding procedures and project schedules
- Carry out fabrication, maintenance and upgrades
- Complete welded joints that comply with procedures, clients specifications and drawings
- Actively participate in Tool Box and Safety Meetings
- Participate in activities of continuous improvement
- Adhere to safe work practices
ABOUT YOU
- Minimum 3 years experience in Welding
- Previous experience in welding to the requirements of AMSE B31.3, AS4041, AWS D1.1, AS NZS ISO 1554 or relevant codes
- Drivers License
Desirable Skills, Qualifications and Experience
- WTIA Welding Certified Experience AS1796, 4,5,7
- Understanding of Metallurgical Weld ability of Certain Materials
- Experience in Exotic Welding Materials Such as 316L, CuNi, Duplex
- Experience in the Oil & Gas Industry
- Certificate III Engineering (Fabrication/Boilermaking)
- Experience in Hydrostatic Testing of Piping, Vessels, Hoses and Fittings
- Relevant Industry Tickets - Construction White Card, Common Safety Training Program, Working at Heights, Confined Spaces, Elevated Work Platform
