Coding Quality Coordinator

The Health Information Management Services/Digital Health and Informatics are looking for Permanent Full-time position to join their team. The Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospital is a medium metropolitan adult facility providing a range of inpatient and outpatient services and a 24-hour emergency department. Our endoscopy unit is Australia’s most advanced diagnostic facility and has the capacity to see more than 5000 patients a year. Metro South Video Link

About the Role         

• Coordination of the Clinical Coding Quality Program, including education, auditing and clinician liaison activities to ensure a high standard of coding accuracy, consistency and timeliness.
• The Clinical Coding Quality Coordinator reports to the Director Health Information Management Services, QEII Jubilee Hospital, MSH.
• The Clinical Coding Quality Coordinator reports to the Director Health Information Management Services, QEII Jubilee Hospital, MSH.
• Utilise the 3M Codefinder software, relevant patient information systems, related pathology, and associated databases to assist in verification and allocation of ICD-10-AM codes.
