Coffee Machine Technician - Field Service & Workshop

Crema Coffee Garage has spent more than 20 years making a name as a specialty roaster. Our goal is to support café’s, offices, and the home coffee enthusiast to inspire their ultimate brewing experience. Whilst we originated in the Hunter Valley, it is our Brisbane location looking for a new team member. 

Our Crema Brisbane headquarters hosts a:

• Very nicely appointed and fully equipped workshop 
• Extensive showroom for test driving high-end equipment
• Cafe “Tank Stream Social” which has been elegantly designed European-style piazza and alfresco area by a local Brisbane designer. 

Crema Coffee Garage is looking to employ a Service Technician. The successful candidate will have the important role of servicing and repairing Coffee Machines, supporting the Tech Crew in the Crema Garage Workshop as well as out on-site with our customers, so a driver's license and basic admin/computer skills are a must. (fieldwork is not a large component of this role and is currently up to 1 to 2 days on average across the week in total, and it is just supporting cover in this area) . Role is Monday to Friday Day shifts.

The ideal applicant will be eager to learn, have great customer service skills, as well as a positive can-do attitude. We are looking for a crew member who is self-sufficient and highly motivated, with great communication skills. Previous service or technical skills are required, and a love of coffee will be a huge bonus.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A minimum of a current Restricted Electrical License 
• Experience in machine or appliance repairs
• Strong diagnostic skills
• Confident communication & interpersonal skills
• Commitment to quality and safe work practices
• Customer service-oriented attitude
• Possession of current driver’s license
