AddressWe are one of Tasmania’s leading Coffee Roasteries and are looking for a new team member to predominantly learn to roast and blend our range of products in Kingston, south of Hobart.
We supply fresh roasted coffee to cafes, restaurants, grocers, supermarkets and hotels across the state.
This is a varied role that involves customer interaction as well as working with our head roaster.
We are offering above award wages and conditions and are looking for a new team member that can start in the next 4 weeks ideally.
You’ll join the team to:
- Roast and pack coffee beans-majority of the role
- Drive and deliver beans to our customers
- Pack and prepare orders
- Maintain the tidiness of the roastery and warehouse
- Assist the crew in equipment maintenance, production planning and stock control
About you
Ideally, you’ll come from a barista/hospitality background or be someone who is passionate about coffee, loves working as part of a team and wants to develop their career in the industry.
To nail this role, you’ll need:
- A friendly manner and great communication skills
- A passion for coffee and willingness to learn
- Driver’s license
- Coffee experience is a plus
- Be physically fit and able to meet the physical demands of the role
- Ability to work autonomously once trained
- A great attention to detail and be organised and motivated
- Coffee roasting experience a distinct advantage
- Computer Literate Experience - with MYOB an advantage
