The JBS Cold Store facility is strategically located in Hemmant near the Brisbane port and employs approximately 140 people. Hemmant receives a high volume of truck and container loads of product from all the JBS sites around Australia, these are then re-loaded for our domestic and international customer’ orders and readied for transport.
About the Role
The JBS Cold Store Facility is currently recruiting an experienced Cold Store Supervisor (Day Shift) to join our leadership team. Reporting to the Cold Store Manager, this opportunity is ideal for anyone wanting to progress their leadership career within a global organisation that is leading the way in the meat industry.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring compliance with company Work Health Safety Management System
- Ensuring compliance with government and company Quality Assurance requirements and regulations
- Leading and motivating a team of 25+ employees
- Supervising and coordinating in and out loads to meet customer, quality and scheduling requirements
- Ensuring inventory control, dispatching and receiving of frozen and chilled products both for Export and Domestic Markets
- Positively contributing to a zero harm safety culture
About You
- Demonstrated leadership/supervisory skills in a similar leadership role
- Ability to work flexible hours

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong work ethic
- Sound computer skills including Microsoft office and Outlook
