As part of this role you will:

• Assist in creating opportunities to catalyse entrepreneurial, collaborative and innovative activity in the key strategic industries and capability areas to help diversify Canberra economy and leverage the potential of Canberra's research and higher educational institutions for global impact.
• Assist in the design, prepare and co-facilitate workshops, co-design sessions, hackathons, competitions and other types of collaborative initiatives that enable these opportunities to be pursued by Canberra based collaborative alliances.
• Assist in identifying and building productive collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across academia, research, government and private as well as non-governmental sectors within the key industries and capability areas for the ACT economy as defined in the Chief Minister's Statement of Ambition document.
• Assist in building partnerships with corporates who will be prepared to sponsor Collaborative Innovation activity in the priority industry sectors and capability areas and use our suite of Collaborative Innovation services as a source of open innovation for their products, services, processes and solutions or for accelerating innovation within their ecosystems.
• Work with the growth team to progress the identified collaborations from concept to entrepreneurial project that can be accelerated, incubated or otherwise assisted by programs of the CBR Innovation Network or its partners.

• An avid interest and overview of latest developments, trends and key issues in science, technology and innovation;
• Ability take an innovative and entrepreneurial approach;
• Ability to work with researchers, innovators and entrepreneurs and bridge communication gaps across the worlds of academia, business and government;
• Ability to navigate challenging situations;
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team and with a diverse community of innovators and entrepreneurs.
