St Aloysius College, North Melbourne is seeking applications from qualified, experienced, and passionate Psychologists and Counsellors who will support the College’s vision and values.
This is an ongoing part or full time position, where you will join the College’s current Psychologist in providing a high-quality counselling service to students and offer advice and guidance to parents and staff in matters relating to the progress and wellbeing of students.
You will work closely with the school's leadership team in promoting, implementing, and supporting the whole school Wellbeing Program.
The College is seeking applicants who, among other qualities, can demonstrate:
- Qualifications and current registration as a psychologist with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA)
or
qualifications and current registration as a counsellor with a valid membership of the Australian Counselling Association (ACA). - Commitment to act in accordance with the ethical and professional guidelines outlined by the AHPRA or ACA.
- Experience providing specialist counselling to students with regards to personal, emotional, social, behavioural and cognitive difficulties
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Passion for supporting the development of children and young people
- Hold a current Working with Children Clearance
