About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Senior Commercial Manager this role will support the contract management, along with providing advice on commercial matters and drafting of commercial documents in relation to the Collins Class Life of Type Extension Program. The successful candidate must demonstrate experience in decision making, contractual and commercial knowledge and be able to work unsupervised at times.
This role is a Permanent full-time opportunity located in our Osborne head office, with work from home days available.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and management of change proposals.
- Be a part of all commercial aspects of program delivery including development of responses to customers, contract negotiation and reporting.
- Support the development and contractual implementation of Tasking Statement Amendments.
- Maintain a strong professional and transparent relationship with our customers and internal stakeholders.
- Engage with cross functional stakeholders to help deliver commercial program outcomes.
About you
- Bachelor’s degree in Commercial, Construction, Legal or Business with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Contract Specialist, Contract Manager, Commercial Advisory role or similar
- Experience in supporting new bid development opportunities and contract implementation whilst not essential would be highly regarded.
- Previous experience and ability to understand project estimates and financials.
- Good communication skills and an ability to simplify complex issues.
- Ability to influence commercial outcomes.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross functional teams.
Eligibility
This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
