The division employs more than 3600 team members.About the role:As the Commercial Analyst - Merchandise, you will play a crucial role in advancing API's vision and supporting our strategic objectives aimed at achieving excellence and enhancing business performance. Your core responsibilities will anchor around driving insights on Trade, Inventory and Working Capital performance. Your experience in navigating complex business environments will be invaluable, as you adeptly handle ambiguity and make swift decisions even with imperfect information. Your exceptional communication skills will enable you to effectively engage and influence stakeholders across all levels of the organisation. With your innate curiosity and keen attention to detail, you will excel in problem-solving and successfully navigate through various challenges that arise.What you'll bring:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a dynamic, high-performance setting.
- Experience in FMCG, Retail, or Pharmaceutical sectors is beneficial.
- Proven track record in a genuinely commercial capacity, including performance analysis, business planning, and budgeting is preferred.
- Ability to offer valuable commercial insights and advice to senior management.
- Proficiency in fostering productive partnerships between support and business units.
- Critical thinker with an objective approach and strong cross-functional problem-solving abilities. Embrace curiosity.
- Demonstrated success in facilitating collaboration across functional teams to achieve consensus and mutual understanding.
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance related discipline
- CPA/CA qualification
