This is the dream job for a finance professional who gets their kicks from providing true commercial support to a ‘front office' function. Partnering with our large and geographically dispersed Sales team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the commercial viability of our customer supply contracts and for the day to day reporting and analysis of our sales performance.
This will include;
- Leading and managing pricing and customer profitability analysis for customer tenders
- Reviewing contract proposals and ensuring they are aligned with Opal's legal position
- Providing commercial sales analytics to support Sales, Supply Chain, Estimating and Operations teams
- Contributing to the improvement in accuracy of our budgeting and forecasting processes
- Preparing financial reporting and analytics around sales volumes, sales dollar and standard gross margin for month end, budgeting and forecasting processes.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a CA/CPA qualified Finance professional who is keen to pursue their career with a large, multi-divisional organisation that can provide exceptional career growth. Ideally we are seeking an individual who has a strong foundational career in financial reporting who has since moved into a more commercially focussed FP&A style of role.
Additionally, we expect you will have;
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Commerce
- 10+ years' experience in a similar capacity
- Previous experience in a large manufacturing or complex supply chain environment
- Outstanding stakeholder management, communication, influencing and presentation skills
- Highly computer literate (advanced Excel) and previous experience with SAP TM1 would be highly regarde
