We are currently seeking a skilled attorney to join our legal team as Commercial and Corporate Counsel. This role will be instrumental in handling a wide range of legal matters, providing strategic legal insights, and ensuring compliance across our operations.
Responsibilities:
Provide legal advice and support across various aspects of the law, with an emphasis on commercial contracts and negotiation, corporate governance, and compliance issues.
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts and agreements.
Assist in the development and implementation of corporate policies and procedures.
Participate in the development of business strategies, providing both legal and strategic advice.
Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including external counsel, regulators, and business partners.
Build strong collaboration with internal stakeholders.
Keep abreast of legislative changes that may affect the company and its operations.
Requirements:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the Bar in a U.S. state or the District of Columbia.
At least 3 years of legal experience, preferably with one or more years focusing on Commercial and/or corporate matters.
Proven ability to draft and negotiate contracts and manage a diverse workload under tight deadlines.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of effectively presenting information and responding to questions from groups of managers, clients, and the general public.
Experience in financial services and/or technology, a plus.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must live in the United States.
Salary Range:
$160,000/year - $190,000/year
