ABOUT THE ROLE
In this pivotal role driving business and commercialisation efforts within our Carbon Solutions team, you'll leverage your profound commercial expertise and expansive strategic insights to contribute significantly to transactional activities in the carbon market.
As a key team member, you'll lead the development and execution of diverse transactions, encompassing commercial, project, joint venture, and M&A transactions, all intricately aligned with Origin's objectives in the carbon market.

- Lead Transactional Development: Spearhead the development and execution of transactions, ensuring a seamless alignment with Origin's carbon market objectives. This includes overseeing commercial, project, joint venture, and M&A transactions.
- Strategic Relationship Building: Identify and cultivate strategic relationships and opportunities within key markets and segments, with a particular focus on the agricultural sector and agribusinesses.
- Negotiation Mastery: Take charge of negotiation processes and lead commercial due diligence, ensuring thorough assessments and strategic alignment.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including legal, tax, and technical teams. Foster a cohesive and collaborative approach to transaction execution.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute marketing and business development plans, exploring strategic partnering opportunities to further enhance Origin's position in the carbon market.
ABOUT YOU
As an ideal candidate, you should hold tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and boast deep commercial knowledge, coupled with broad strategic and operational insight.

- Demonstrate a network of relationships within the agricultural sector, complemented by a comprehensive understanding of agribusiness intricacies.
- Exhibit a proven track record in handling complex commercial projects, showcasing your ability to effectively engage cross-functional teams.
