Commercial Estimator

The roles and responsibilities of this position involve but are not limited to;

• Provide scope of works and calculate estimates as required
• Prepare Quotations and Tenders for submission
• Prepare construction methodologies, site establishments, programs and other submission requirements as required for Request for Quotations / Tenders.
• Prepare site reports as required
• Manage Tender Process with relevant staff and contractors
• Manage Project Management software for Tender / Quotes requests for subcontractors and suppliers.
• Manage Handover of successful tenders to Project Management Team
• Manage and update Tender Workload.
• Keep Executive Management Team updated in regards potential workload requirements.
• Review completed projects costs against estimates as a part of the Project completion process with Project Managers and Finance team, 
• Attend & contribute to meetings
• Ensure all company OH&S and other policies are followed at all times
• Ensure quality customer service is provided at all times
• Ensure procedures and documents are routinely updated as required 
• Where necessary; produce and maintain data bases and reports to enhance data presentation, analysis and storage 
• Assist Finance Manager with invoicing relevant to your work fronts

• 3+ years’ experience in construction estimating with a strong focus on the ever-changing construction industry within the NT. 
• Ideal candidate will have experience in Procore and or Cost X 
• Proficiency’s in using industry specific software and tools for estimating and quantity take-offs. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret project plans and specifications accurately. 
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities to effectively interact with clients, internal teams and subcontractors. 
• Detailed oriented mindset with the ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. 
• Strong organisation skills and a high level of accuracy in estimating 
• A proactive and self-motivated attitude, demonstrating initiative and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
