Role Responsibilities:
- Organise, research, and strategically plan for estimate preparation, pricing, scheduling, and final submission
- Management and review of all tenders
- Attend on-site inspections as required and tender meetings
- Negotiate agreements with suppliers and subcontractors/trades to secure prices over an agreed period
- Assist with the company’s business development through maintaining and building new customer relationships
- Work closely with the Construction management team
- Assist in Management, develop and leadership of existing estimating team
Role Requirements:
- Min 2 - 4+ years’ local commercial fit – out & refurbishment and / or New Build estimating experience in the role of Estimator
- Associated Tertiary qualifications
- Experience tendering on Fit-out / Refurbishment and / or New Build projects valued from $1M - $15Mil+
- Able to estimate across multiple disciplines
- Organized and detailed with high level of accuracy
- Possess basic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practices
- Positive and professional attitude with ability to collaborate with other staff
- Strong teamwork orientation, initiative, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
