- As the Commercial Founder and CEO, you'll be responsible for taking the venture forward through operationalisation, commericalisation and scale
- You'll bring Rainmaking APAC’s work more deeply to life, all whilst critically evaluating and further validating it as you go on your journey of scale
- You’ll deeply embed yourself with customers, creating a scalable solution which has unparalleled potential, in partnership with your CTO
- To do this, you’ll build a high impact team around you and find effective ways of unlocking all the opportunities available to you through Rainmaking APAC and your corporate investor & sponsor
- You’ll bring entrepreneurial depth having built a number of B2B or B2B2C businesses, either through the corporate route or ‘in the wild’. You know what execution takes and aren’t afraid to roll your sleeves up
- You’ll bring strong business development experience and commercial acumen required to unlock all the partnerships, commercial opportunities and distribution to take this venture to scale
- You have deep problem-solving skills to tackle the macro and the micro. You’ll be skilled with lean startup and broader entrepreneurial methodologies, utilizing as appropriate
- You have a good grasp of breakthrough technologies and have proven experience working with a CTO / Technical Co-Founder and / or highly technical teams to unlock opportunities
- You’re well embedded in the Australia startup ecosystem and ideally have exposure to engaging with blue-collar workforce members
- You’ll be customer obsessed, wanting to immerse yourself ASAP within this value chain and use your effective skills of pattern recognition to further develop a unique solution in this space
- You’ll be a top class leader who operates with integrity and is able to effectively build and engage teams on this journey
- You're the first to roll your sleeves up and (sometimes literally) get your hands dirty to build awesome relationships and get into the mindset of the customer
- You’re deeply engaged and curious about solving problems within existing value chains and using cutting edge technologies to solve legacy challenges
- You have a strong appreciation for the need to embrace risk in order to achieve the breakthroughs that solve the biggest challenges and an ability to navigate the complexity and pitfalls in doing so
- You’re highly credible, instantly holding your own in complex discussions with wide-ranging stakeholders and ecosystem players of all backgrounds
- You have innate strength of leadership, with the ability to build, manage and inspire entrepreneurial teams
- You have top class organizational skills, are ruthless in allocation of time and resources in pursuit of outcomes and progress, coupled with the patience to see this through
- You effectively create followership, both within your team and across stakeholder ecosystems more broadly
