We are Australia’s largest network of general insurance authorised representatives, over 300 businesses who employ 1000 people. The clients they serve live in communities that stretch from Perth in the west to Cairns in the northeast.

Our team of 70 employees provide a range of valuable services to the network that ensure they can provide superior advice and insurance to their clients and stand behind these individuals and communities when it comes time to pay claims.

Purpose of the role

Our business is growing and evolving, and with that so do the ways in which we support our authorised brokers in the network. You will part of a great professional team that takes every opportunity to connect, learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• New business for various insurance products and risks

• Processing of renewals, cancellations and endorsements for multiple portfolios within the CBN Network

• Lodgement and management of Claims for Network Brokers

• Assisting with ongoing Debtor Management for Network Brokers

• Supporting our Network Brokers in times of illness, annual leave and unexpected circumstances

• Building relationships and working with Insurer partners to obtain and negotiate terms of insurance for clients

• Maintaining document trails to satisfy Compliance

• Maintain Invoicing for services provided to ensure financial growth of the Team

• Positive customer service to Network Brokers either via phone or email

• Manage ongoing learning and personal development

• Remain current with Insurer products & coverage

Required Skills & Abilities

• Awareness of environmental, financial, regulatory & social factors affecting company & client’s operations and business knowledge;

• Commercial acumen;

• Coaching and advising Insurance Brokers;

• Managing complex clients;

• Managing difficult claims;

• Negotiating risk placement

• Experienced in General Broking Practice – minimum 5 years

• Tier 1 or Diploma Financial Services (Broking)

• Insight system
