Commercial Joinery Project Manager - Office Fitouts

What You'll Do:

• Manage the entire office fitout process, from initial client consultations and joinery design approvals to project completion and handover.
• Oversee project budgets, timelines, and resources, ensuring everything runs smoothly and joinery elements stay on track.
• Collaborate closely with clients, architects, contractors, joinery specialists, and suppliers to bring their vision to life.
• Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks and issues, ensuring smooth project execution, especially for joinery-specific challenges.
• Manage and supervise joinery subcontractors, ensuring quality standards and meticulous craftsmanship are met.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including detailed joinery specifications and drawings.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of our processes and procedures, including those specific to joinery integration and installation.

Who You Are:

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in project management, preferably within the office fitout industry.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget, with a keen understanding of joinery costs and lead times.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and project management software.
• A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating beautiful, functional workspaces with exceptional joinery as a key element.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

• Experience with building codes and regulations, specifically as they relate to joinery installations.
• Knowledge of sustainable joinery practices and materials.
• Experience with 3D modeling software, with a focus on visualizing joinery elements.
