Overview:
As a Commercial Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing civil construction projects valued at over $20 million. The ideal candidate will possess a wealth of experience in Commercial Project management within the civil and construction sectors.
Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee large-scale civil projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, quality, and safety standards.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineers, architects, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
• Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets, tracking progress and addressing any deviations promptly.
• Negotiate contracts, manage procurement, and handle financial aspects of projects, including cost estimation, forecasting, and reporting.
• Mitigate risks and resolve issues that may arise during the project lifecycle, maintaining proactive communication with all stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, building codes, and industry standards.
• Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to facilitate successful project delivery and identify future opportunities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 5+ years of proven experience in local Commercial Project management within the civil and construction industries, specifically handling projects exceeding $20 million in value.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, techniques, and practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
• PMP or relevant certifications preferred.
