Zweck is an internal Group Services division that partners with Aizer Group and Xelon Technologies. We are recruiting an enthusiastic Project Coordinator for our partner Roof Ninjas.
Roof Ninjas are the Masters of all forms of Metal Roofing. With over 15 years experience in the industry, we have a team of licensed tradespeople who are highly trained, professional and always working to strict safety standards to take care of your roofing and guttering needs. Whether it be a small leak or a brand new Colorbond steel roof, Roof Ninjas has our clients covered.
Due to the ongoing growth and successful expansion of our business, we are now looking to recruit a Commercial Roofing Supervisor to join our team based at Burleigh Heads.
Reporting into the General Manager, The Commercial Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the entire roofing process from initial handover to project completion for our commercial clients. This role entails managing multiple roofing crews (Internal and External), ensuring compliance with safety standards, and delivering projects within scope, timeframes, and budgets according to client and Roof Ninjas' expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage leading hands, roofers, and contractors, ensuring effective supervision across all stages of the roofing process.
- Supervise and organize subcontractors and labor to meet the demands of upcoming projects.
- Oversee site setup and completion, ensuring all site requirements are met and maintained to Roof Ninjas' standards.
- Participate in project and site handovers with the project team to ensure all job requirements and client-specific expectations are fully implemented.
- Communicating and coordinating with other trades, suppliers, and site leads to facilitate smooth project delivery.
- Assist team in managing Requests for Information (RFIs), variations, and the coordination of material and labor procurement.
- Manage Extension of Times and Notice of Delays as required during the project lifecycle.
- Drive project efficiency by reducing reworks and addressing defects promptly.
- Ensure quality control measures are implemented and maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage onsite health, safety, and environmental (HSEQ) requirements, including conducting risk assessments and participating in incident investigations.
- Resolve site disputes and engage in first-line issue resolution.
- Liaise with client representatives and subcontractors to develop and maintain strong working relationships.
- Provide regular updates to the General Manager on project progress and address any outstanding issues.
- Any other suitable duties as required.

To be successful in this role you will also have:
- At least 4-5 years' experience with proven ability to deliver jobs on time, in scope, within budget, and in accordance with Roof Ninjas and customer expectations.
- Trade qualified, relevant QBCC licenses and Construction Industry White Card.
- Strong technical knowledge and experience, include reading and interpreting plans & technical drawings.
- Demonstrated experience in providing innovative and cost-effective options/solutions to client needs whilst maintaining project budgets.
- Proactive attitude towards safety, quality, and environment.
- Proficient in the use of computers & software, including full suite of MS Office products
- Ability to communicate effectively with key internal and external stakeholders.
