Roof Plumber / Supervisor

JJJ Infrastructure is looking for an experienced Roofing Plumber / Leading Hand Supervisor for an upcoming project in Defence starting April 2024. 

We are also looking for experienced roofers for the same project, so if you're not a Supervisor/Leading Hand yet, you can still apply for the roofer jobs we have available. 

Ideally fly-out from Brisbane (but open to other Qld and NT locations), this role is a FIFO full-time position for an experienced Roofing Supervisor who can run your own crew on a 3/1 roster with consistent pipeline of work in the Defence space. We are also open to DIDO locals to the Katherine/Darwin areas.

• Minimum Cert III in Roof Plumbing or Cert II in Metal Roofing and Cladding. 
• Construction White Card. 
• Sound understanding of Australian Standards, rules and regulations.
• Can listen to and take direction from the Site Manager and Project Manager.
• Working at Heights Certificate. 
• Excellent reading and interpreting technical site plans. 
• Great verbal and written communication skills.
• Current driver's licence - manual a bonus!
• Current National Police Certificate (NPC or criminal history check). 
• Be able to pass a pre-employment medical and ongoing drug and alcohol testing. 
• Minimum 5 years experience. 

This role covers roof sheeting, wall cladding, fascia's, guttering, downpipes, ridge capping, flashings, insulation and other roof products in multi-story Defence projects on base. 

• Roster: 3/1 roster for all FIFO or DIDO arrangements with all meals, accommodation, flights, and travel transfers paid by the company. 
• Above Award Wages: Remuneration package is on offer dependent on your skillset and experience. 
• Company Vehicle & Tools: available for the purposes of work. 
• Uniforms: Full uniform (pants, boots, shirts) and PPE supplied. 
• Accommodation and meals are included, staying in our newly built and Company owned/operated camp with onsite chef.
