The Opportunity:
Are you a proactive and reliable electrician with a passion for ensuring the safety and functionality of electrical systems? We're seeking a skilled Commercial Service Electrician to join our team and play a pivotal role in maintaining the electrical infrastructure for our major retail and commercial clients. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of electrical systems through preventative maintenance and reactive works. With a focus on autonomy, this role presents a unique opportunity for individuals who thrive in a dynamic environment and enjoy the satisfaction of solving complex problems. Tasks and responsibilities may include:
- Complete six monthly, annual and 5 yearly testing of plant, equipment and appliances.
- RCD Checks and replacements.
- Emergency lighting checks and replacements.
- UPS checks, Upgrades, and replacements.
- Generator Checks and servicing.
- Thermographic testing of distribution boards.
- General inspection of electrical equipment and environment locations.
- Reporting of any identified faults and Issues.
- Assisting with estimations on time and materials for fault repairs.
- Undertake inspection, testing, and verification activities.
- NSW Electrical Licence
- Current drivers licence
- White Card
- CPR/LVR
- Great Communication with customers and other team members
- Advanced understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques.
- Early Morning Shift Allowance.
- 5 weeks paid annual leave per year?+ 12 RDO’s per year!
