Position OverviewWe seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commissioning Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Commissioning Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful deployment and quality of our machines. You will be responsible for testing, configuring, and commissioning our autonomous robots to meet customer requirements and expectation
The RoleReports to: The Manufacturing Manager
The Commissioning Engineer is responsible for ensuring all SwarmBots that leave the manufacturing facilities have been fully commissioned and are ready for delivery to our customers.
You will be accountable for:- Following established commissioning processes for SwarmBot. This involves both hardware and software commissioning; including electrical, controllers, sensor, computers, hydraulics and engine.
- Working with the Manufacturing Lead to improve the commissioning process and develop procedures to improve efficiency and decrease commissioning time.
- Working to deadlines set by the business to ensure SwarmBot platforms leave the manufacturing facilities on time.
- Q/A and approving new SwarmBot for delivery in accordance with SwarmFarm Commissioning and QA procedure.
- Ensuring robots are delivered free of defects and on time for customer deployment
- Assisting the manufacturing team for robot builds to meet manufacturing targets and deadlines
- Working with Manufacturing Lead to update documentation.
- Proactively assist with training and support to help customers to achieve the best out of our technology.
- Assisting the Product Support Team to
- Provide technical support and fault diagnostics for our autonomous field robots
- Provide “Over the phone” diagnostics support for customers
- Proactively assist with training and support to help customers to achieve the best out of our technology
Reporting Responsibilities:
- Time tracking of each step in the commissioning process is essential
- Complete the commissioning checklists, sign and upload final documents
- You will report directly to the Manufacturing Lead

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics or software or a related field) or relevant industry experience and / or trade qualifications
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong hands-on skills and experience in wiring and fixing hydraulic issues
- Familiarity with industry-standard test equipment such as multimeters
- Ability and willingness to work in outdoor field environments
