They deal heavily in High Voltage connections, HV power engineering, Engineering and Construction of substations and lines, testing and compliance services.
As a Commissioning Technician/Electrician you will ensure substation primary plant and secondary systems are commissioned in accordance with appropriate policies and procedures.
You will primarily be working on substations, so it is essential you have previous experience working on similar projects and have a strong skillset when it comes to the testing and commissioning of relevant equipment.
This role comes with some great incentives, not only does is provide flights, meals and accommodation but comes with a great salary as well. This role will expect you to do likely 400+ hours of overtime a year, this would boast a salary of $181k - $211k pending on skills and experience. With more work being forecasted this salary could even be boosted by another $40k per year.

- Perform commissioning and integration of substation equipment through provision of testing and commissioning services
- Assist with the Development of inspection and test plans and
secondary works programs for staging - Assist with the commissioning testing on complex protection
systems in substations without supervision. - Assist with planning and organising of testing requirements
- Investigate plant outages and coordinate corrective actions
- Assist with preparation of engineering reports and technical documentation.
- Review primary and secondary electrical designs for High Voltage Substation projects.
- Electrical Fitter Mechanics Licence
- Drivers Licence
- CPR/LVR
- Associate Degree/Diploma (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering (Desirable)
- Nationally accredited HV Switching Certificate (Desirable)
- Full right to live and work in Australia with no restrictions (no sponsorships available)
