Position Overview:
As an International Installation and Commission Technician at Tanis, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful Installation and Commissioning of our products and services across the globe. You will be responsible for representing our company professionally while providing outstanding customer support and technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel internationally to customer sites for Installation and Commissioning of confectionery equipment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project timelines and objectives are met.
- Provide on-site technical support and troubleshooting during installations.
- Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance checks post-installation.
- Document all Installation and Commissioning activities and provide reports to the management team.
- Represent Tanis in a professional and customer-focused manner, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Continuously update technical knowledge to stay current with industry trends and product developments.
- Assist in training customers on the proper use and maintenance of our products.
Qualifications:
- Trade qualification in fitting and assembly as a minimum; a dual trade in fitting / assembly and electrical would be highly regarded.
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the confectionery and or large scale machinery installation sector.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally on a frequent basis 50% of the time.
- Strong technical background and problem-solving skills.
- To manage the entire on-site fitting, Installation and Commissioning of the Tanis equipment
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (additional languages a plus).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Valid passport and driver's license.
