The Role
Through development and delivery of effective communications and engagement programs, the Communications and Engagement Coordinator will play a key role in building stakeholder support. You will apply their strong professional knowledge of communications strategy and methods with a sound knowledge of related environmental and sustainable agriculture themes.
This position will lift the profile of the organisation, inform its members, strengthen relationships with relevant industry and community stakeholders and contribute to the way we engage with our communities. You will lead and support external and internal communications, media management, build social media schedules and produce content for the association's channels.
About you
We are seeking a junior-mid level communications professional with a passion for communications and the environment. You will be a qualified communications expert with exceptional written and verbal communication skills and a track record for producing impactful comms. You'll be a people's person and approach work with a can-do attitude!
You'll need:
- Relevant degree qualification in journalism or communications
- To be flexible and dynamic in a fast-paced environment
- A passion and preferably knowledge of land management, environment and/or sustainable agriculture
