About the role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Communications and Outreach Officer to coordinate and maintain ChemCentre's website, social media platforms and content management. In this role, you will deliver engaging internal communication content and materials, including news articles and the coordination of our monthly staff meetings. This role also coordinates the delivery of outreach and school educational programs.
The successful applicant will have knowledge and experience in corporate marketing and Communications and digital delivery skills. You will have good interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders. They will also have good communication skills both verbal and written, including the ability to present to groups and understand target audience needs.
You will become an integral part of our small dynamic team to undertake tasks broadly spread across Communications and Outreach activities. The successful applicant will demonstrate effective organisational, planning and time management skills, along with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
This position is to be filled on a Permanent, Full-Time basis. Part time (0.8FTE) may also be considered.
