Communications Co-Ordinator

We are seeking motivated, talented, and driven individuals to join StepChange as part of a project team working with a key resource client in Perth.

What are we looking for?

We require communications candidates to work on an environmental project with SMEs and communications leads. The roles will commence in May and run for an initial six months on a long-term project. 

The roles are responsible for:

• Attention to detail in supporting the development of project-specific environmental management plans 
• Written communication skills with proficiency in Word, particularly formatting
• Understanding of relevant legal, regulatory and company environmental requirements and plans
• Ensuring project deadlines are met and stakeholders are kept informed on progress
• Building relationships by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including traditional owners
• Assist in writing and editing environmental plans and documents 
• Ability to manage time, multi-task and work to deadline in a fast-paced Corporate Affairs environment

Essential Requirements 

• 5 years + experience in a similar role within industry, consulting, or government
• Knowledge of compliance and reporting procedures and processes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
