You will be joining a small, supportive, and tightknit team of consultants, working across a range of infrastructure, sustainability, and environmental initiatives. We are passionate about shaping meaningful outcomes for the Community and supporting clients to deliver innovative engagement programs. We offer remote and/or site based dedicated personnel that can be embedded within different project teams.
What will you be doing?
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a specialist team of engagement practitioners, your role in the team will be:
Undertaking stakeholder analysis and reporting.
Planning and leading delivery of day-to-day Community and Stakeholder Engagement activities.
Managing Community and Stakeholder enquiries and complaints.
Preparing communication and display materials.
Providing project teams and senior leaders with insights and an understanding of Community and Stakeholder sentiment, issues, trends and opportunities.
Maintaining project related databases for the purposes of recording and managing stakeholder information.
About you
Understand the increasing demand for Stakeholder Engagement and an appreciation of the importance that engagement specialists have.
Community engagement experience in an infrastructure environment (3-5 years) or tertiary qualifications in Communications, Public Relations or in a related area with relevant work experience. An IAP2 certificate is desirable.
Knowledge of Stakeholder Engagement best practices, including engagement with diverse communities and the use of digital tools for engagement.
Ability to easily build relationships and engage with range of stakeholders.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to write clearly to publish quality, easily understood information for internal and external audiences.
The ability to effectively communicate, in plain English, complex concepts to diverse audiences.
Self-motivated, work well under pressure and able to work with limited supervision.
A demonstrated ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, including construction environments.
Strong administrative skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
