We have casual positions available right now for Support Workers based in the Northernregion of Brisbane.
About the role
- Engage in community runs encompassing personal care, social support, and domestic assistance.
- Provide personal care, physical, and emotional support to residents requiring assistance with daily living.
- Contribute to the development and review of resident care plans; maintain accurate charting.
- Promptly report observed changes in resident health to the Registered Nurse/Enrolled Nurse.
- Uphold the personal dignity and privacy of residents, their representatives, and staff.
- Treat all interactions with residents and their representatives confidentially.
- Support the creation of a comfortable, safe, and secure environment.
- Undertake delegated tasks from the Registered/Enrolled Nurse.
- Deliver care in both residents' homes and designated facilities.
About you
- Experience in aged care and holding a Certificate III in Individual Support or Disability.
- Be eligible to work in Australia.
- Current "C" class Qld driver's license
- A roadworthy, registered, and insured vehicle
- Current Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Current National Police check
- Current First Aid/CPR Certificate
- Covid 19 Vaccination
- NDIS Worker Orientation Certificate "Quality, Safety and You"
