We are presently looking for the right people to provide care, support and assistance to a number of clients across Rockhampton. As a Community Care Worker, you’ll work with clients in their homes, following their care plans, to provide support and ensure their needs are met.
$28.27 - $30.11 per hour plus superannuation plus generous salary packaging available depending on experience
What you’ll be doing
- Assisting clients with their care requirements in accordance with their care plans and preferences
- Supporting clients with transportation and community access
- Monitoring their condition and reporting on any changes in condition or behaviour
- Providing in-home personal care and daily living assistance including administering medication, manual handling and domestic assistance
About you:
- Certificate III in Individualised Support, working towards or the equivalent
- Have your own vehicle and a Queensland Provisional Green or above clear Driver’s Licence with comprehensive insurance and service history
- Experience working alongside clients with cognitive and/or physical limitations and/or Qualifications in Aged Care would be looked upon favourably
