Community Clinician - 26+

Based in Gippsland, Latrobe Regional Health are looking for a Senior Mental Health Clinician - 26+ to join our Orbost Clinic on a full time, fixed term basis.
Reporting clinically to the 26+ Clinical Lead and operationally to the Bairnsdale Team Manager, the Senior Mental Health Clinician plays an important role in supporting persons within the Orbost area.

We are looking for candidates with:

• A client focused approach to their work
• Ability to undertake a full range of clinical duties including clinical assessment, providing evidence based treatments and support to consumer and their families/carers.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience working with individuals who experience poor mental health

Selection Criteria Essential: Fully Vaccinated against COVID-19
Essential: Registered Nurse Division 1 with a formal post graduate qualification in Mental Health Nursing.
Essential: Occupational Therapy registered with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Essential: Psychologist registered with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Essential: Social Worker with eligibility for membership with AASW.
Essential: A current Victorian Drivers Licence
Essential: Computer literacy skills
Essential: Demonstrated experience working in the mental health service system
Essential: Demonstrated high level of communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
