What you’ll be doing:
As a Community Development Coordinator (CDC), you will facilitate and implement a range of innovative capacity building activities such as awareness raising, information sharing, stakeholder liaison and community engagement activities which will support and assist people living with a disability.
The position plays a pivotal role in engaging with people living with disability, their families, carers, and broader community to increase awareness and remove barriers for people living with a disability.
Who we’re looking for:
- Someone with significant proven experience working in Community Development roles.
- An understanding of community capacity building models
- Experience working in Community Development or Community Engagement roles.
- Experience or understanding of Project Management
- Strong interpersonal skills, including presentation skills and demonstrated ability to connect with community members.
- Strong written communication and report writing skills.

What we can do for you:
- Salary banding from $75,598 - $84,320 depending on relevant qualifications and years of relevant experience.
