Top of FormThe Role:
We are searching for an energetic and driven Community Fundraiser to step into a dynamic role on the ground-floor of a 5-year, strategic plan for growth.
Working closely with the Head of Community Fundraising, and leading a team of Community Fundraising Coordinators, you will have significant influence in shaping community strategies that not only elevate the fundraiser experience, but also propel signature campaigns to new heights.
This is a chance for you to apply and develop your innovative relationship-building techniques and campaign skills to drive exceptional results across the Community Fundraising portfolio.Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute comprehensive relationship fundraising strategies aimed at acquiring, retaining, and upgrading Community Fundraising supporters to achieve program goals effectively.
  • Develop and implement a robust communication framework for fundraisers, fostering strong relationships with both new and existing fundraisers to maximise fundraising outcomes.
  • Actively participate in all Community Fundraising programs as required, contributing efforts to drive successful fundraising results.
  • Recruit, manage, and coordinate local volunteers to provide vital support for Community Fundraising initiatives, ensuring smooth operation and success.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams such as Supporter Services, Marketing, Digital, and Health, leveraging collective expertise to meet Community Fundraising targets efficiently.
  • Manage a dedicated team of Community Fundraising Coordinators, setting clear goals, supervising task allocation, addressing capacity issues, and encouraging collaborative work practices.
  • Stay abreast of compliance requirements related to Community Fundraising programs and stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and potential opportunities for improvement.
  • Undertake additional duties or responsibilities as directed within the scope of the role, leveraging skills, qualifications, and experience to contribute effectively.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Previous experience in relationship management and income generation within Community Fundraising and/or similar.
  • Proven success in implementing and driving acquisition campaigns.
  • Strong stakeholder relationship skills to be able to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven communication, organisation, and time management skills.
  • Agile and a real problem solver, to be able to quickly change tactics when things are going to plan.
  • Experience with CRM databases like Raisers Edge/NXT is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on achieving results.
