Community Mental Health Clinician

Position:Community Mental Health Clinician specializing in adult Mental Health

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of adult clients to determine Mental Health needs and treatment goals.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices.
• Provide therapy, counselling, and support services to adults experiencing a range of Mental Health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and psychotic disorders.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other professionals to coordinate care and ensure holistic treatment approaches.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions and psychoeducational workshops as needed.
• Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in acute distress.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in accordance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Master's or doctoral degree in Counselling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• Current license or eligibility for license as a Clinical Social Worker, Psychologist, or Mental Health Counsellor in WA.
• Minimum of 12 months of experience providing direct clinical services in a Community Mental Health setting, with a focus on adult populations.
• Demonstrated expertise in conducting Mental Health assessments, diagnosing Mental Health disorders, and developing treatment plans.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and interventions for adult Mental Health issues.
