Job Summary: As a Community Mental Health Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive, compassionate, and patient-centered Mental Health care to individuals in our client's community. You will work closely with a diverse team of healthcare professionals to support and advocate for the mental well-being of our client's. . This is a rewarding and dynamic position that allows you to positively impact the lives of those in need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough Mental Health assessments and develop individualised care plans.
- Provide therapeutic interventions and evidence-based treatments to clients.
- Offer support, education, and counseling to clients and their families.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care.
- Monitor and evaluate client progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
- Promote Mental Health awareness and destigmatize Mental Health issues in the community.
- Participate in crisis intervention and ensure client safety.
- Keep detailed and accurate records of client interactions and treatment plans.
- Registered Nurse with a valid practicing certificate in New Zealand.
- A passion for Mental Health and a commitment to providing compassionate care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Understanding of New Zealand's Mental Health legislation and policies.
- Knowledge of evidence-based Mental Health interventions and treatments.
- Willingness to engage in continuous professional development.
- A full, clean driver's license
