Speech Pathologist – Katherine, NT
The company
You will be joining a multi-disciplinary team of Physiotherapists, Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists and Allied Health Assistants to provide support to your clients in both a hospital and community based environment.
The role
As the Speech Pathologist, you will deliver high quality, culturally appropriate and effective Speech Pathology services to your client.
The duties and responsibilities of the Speech Pathologist will include, but not be limited to:
- Provide timely, clinically and culturally appropriate services to your clients
- Assessing clients and developing intervention plans
- Monitor client progress and amending plans as required
- Maintaining and updating client records
- Liaising with other multi-disciplinary team members
- Providing all services in an ethical and accountable manner
What will you get in return?
- Salary of between $88k and $105k dependent on years’ experience

About you
To be considered for the role of Speech Pathologist, you will have:
- Tertiary qualification as a Speech Pathologist
- Meet membership eligibility of Speech Pathology Australia
- Demonstrated awareness and understanding of Aboriginal Culture and proven experience in working effectively with patients and families/carers of diverse cultural and social backgrounds
- Current police clearance
- Fully Covid-19 Vaccinated – certificate to be provided
- Current NT Working with Children Check and NDIS worker check
