Job description

Are you a paeds expert? Feeling you aren't rewarded for your skills and abilities with fair compensation, click here for more support!

Have you been looking for a workplace that is fairer? In both expectation and wage? Look no further, this is the one for you. Take your skill as an OT and turn it into a sustainable achievable workload with colleagues that feel like family. Do you need flexible hours? We can make that happen.

This role will take you all over the north side of Brisbane with patients and their families who are engaged in treatment plans and want to work with you to maximise outcomes. Be supported by a team that cares about you, have the ability to be paid to do your notes or referrals at home.

Joining this team you will find that the focus is in the right place. The caseload expected from a clinician on a day to day is achievable, with understanding the bumps along the way and it is completely sustainable. That last part is important - this organisation understands the challenges of the role and works very hard to keep the whole team moving without creating burnout. The team culture is something that everyone contributes to here, and as such they are looking for clinicians to join who are aligned with the values and place equal importance on how they conduct themselves with their clients as well as the wider team. Community, team sharing, peer learning, mutual respect and a caring consideration, all create the environment that keep this team close and the invite is out to all those who feel they contribute.

On a day to day you will have the opportunity to be working in a mobile setting across a paediatric caseload. The team environment is strongly fostered even if you aren't in each other's pockets. Expect yearly team getaways and PD as a key part of this role. The specific age and area of specialty of your caseload can be catered to your specific experience and areas of interest, along with broadening your scope in order to grow and learn. Familiarity with NDIS are very highly regarded, but other experience will most certainly be considered.

To join this team you will bring:

  • A degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent
  • Current registration with with AHPRA (or ability to attain)
  • Experience with a Paeds caseload (New Grads with a Paeds placement)
  • Current QLD drivers licence (for mobile clinicians)

Curious to know if this is the role for you? Need more information, please call Jack on 0424 192 ***. If electronic mail is more your vibe use - ********@frontlinehealth.com.au

If you'd like to join a team that share your approach to Paediatric Occupational Therapy, click APPLY NOW.
