As a Community Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality physiotherapy services to clients within their homes or community settings. You will work closely with individuals to assess their needs, develop personalised treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions to achieve optimal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' physical abilities, functional status, and mobility.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the specific needs and goals of each client.
- Provide hands-on therapy, exercise prescription, and education to promote recovery, independence, and overall well-being.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, caregivers, and support networks to ensure holistic care and continuity of treatment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Demonstrated experience in providing physiotherapy services to diverse client populations, including NDIS participants and aged care patients.
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- A compassionate and client-centered approach to care delivery.
