Home Therapy Australia’s team excels in community health care, specializing in disability care, post-operative rehabilitation, and home/gym/pool-based rehabilitation. We provide physiotherapy in the community, focusing on supporting individuals with neurological conditions, recent surgeries (primarily hip, knee, ankle, and spinal), as well as other disabilities and injuries.

About the Physiotherapy Role

Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- The successful applicant will provide mobile physiotherapy services to Home Therapy Australia's clients in Sydney, conducting assessments and treatments in clients' homes.
- Responsibilities also include providing face-to-face and occasional tele-support to clients in various community settings, prescribing equipment, and completing assistive technology applications.
- Provide exercise and rehabilitation advice and strategies, targeted education (for patients, carers and staff), and ensure effective communication with key stakeholders.
- Make equipment and AT recommendations
- Report writing
- Collaborate seamlessly and effectively with our team to uphold the highest standards of care and deliver integrated services that prioritize our clients' well-being.
Essential Selection Criteria:
- Empathy and patience in providing care to individuals with disabilities and other health conditions, coupled with a strong commitment to supporting their well-being.
- Registration/ Ability to obtain registration with AHPRA and eligibility.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a multi-disciplinary team.
- High-level skills in developing physiotherapy supports for a wide range of diverse and complex conditions.
- Excellent organization, time management, and written/verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency in administrative tasks and adeptness with computer systems.
- National Police Check, Working With Children Check
- Valid driver's license.
- Own vehicle/ Access to personal vehicle (preferred)
- Problem-solving skills with a can-do attitude.
- 1+ years of experience as a physiotherapist.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience working; in rehab (ortho and neuro), with people with intellectual disabilities, mental illness, or various neurological conditions.
- SIRA Workers Compensation Approval Number (or willingness to obtain).
