HNT Therapies was formed by a small group of allied health professionals, who aim to provide high quality consumer-focused allied health services to the community. We specialise in providing mobile allied health care services to all members of the public in their home.
About the role
Due to ongoing growth, HNT Therapies are looking for a permanent part-time (0.4 FTE or 0.6 FTE) Community Physiotherapist to join our community home care team.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn and work with community from different funding packages including but not limited to NDIS, HCP, TCP etc.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, provide education, evaluate the effectiveness of interventions.
- Apply evidence-based practice during assessment, reviews and treatment plan.
- Provide ongoing intervention and reviews.
- Understand the importance and practice multi-disciplinary approach.
- Complete referrals to other health care professionals as appropriate.
- Knowledgeable about the Physiotherapy Code of Ethics.
Essential skills
- Registration with AHPRA as a Physiotherapist
- Excellent verbal, written and electronic communication skills
- Flexibility to work across metropolitan Adelaide
- Current police clearance
- Current driver’s license AND registered vehicle
- First Aid certificate AND CPR certificate
- Full working rights
- Professional Indemnity Insurance
Desirable Skills (New graduates are welcome too)
- Experience in community aged care (HCP, TCP, NDIS etc) or similar healthcare settings.
- New graduates encouraged to apply.
- NDIS worker screen check (or willing to obtain after joining)
