RoleOverview:

We areseeking a full-time Registered Nurse to conduct clinical assessments, developaged care service plans, supervise Enrolled Nurses, perform clinicalprocedures, and communicate directly with clients and families. This role,based in Canberra, may involve travel to surrounding areas of ACT/NSW.

KeyResponsibilities:

·        Conductcomprehensive clinical assessments and develop individualized care plans.

·        Utilizeclinical expertise in aged care, rehabilitation, and community health services.

·        Developand implement aged care service plans addressing patients' needs and lifestylegoals.

·        Collaboratewith healthcare professionals, including allied health providers and generalpractitioners.

·        SuperviseEnrolled Nurses, providing guidance for high-quality care delivery.

·        Fostera positive and supportive work environment within the team.

·        Performnecessary clinical procedures ensuring effective and safe healthcare services.

·        Administerclinical interventions, treatments, and manage medication plans.

·        Communicatetransparently with clients and their families.

·        Collaboratewith colleagues and stakeholders for patient-centered care.

·        Activelyparticipate in professional development and training.

·        Collaboratewith the Allied Health Professional team.

Skillsand Experience:

·        Minimum2 years of work experience as a Registered Nurse.

·        Experiencein aged care, rehabilitation, and community health services.

·        Supervisoryexperience is advantageous.

·        Strongcommunication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications:

·        Bachelor’sor master’s degree in nursing (Required).

·        Post-GraduateQualifications in Aged Care and Management (Advantageous).

·        Currentregistration with AHPRA.

·        NationalPolice History Check.

·        Workingwith vulnerable people card (aged care sector check) or willing to obtain.

·        COVID-19vaccination plus booster, current flu vaccination.

·        ProfessionalIndemnity insurance or willing to obtain.
