Sonic Nurse Connect is part of Sonic Clinical Services (SCS), the primary care division of Sonic Healthcare – one of Australia's largest Healthcare companies. Sonic Nurse Connect offer a range of community-based nursing services and patient support programs designed to positively contribute to health and wellbeing. We work primarily with pharmaceutical company clients and consumers to design and deliver our services which include infusion and injection administration, care coordination, patient education and support.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking suitably qualified Registered Nurses to work as part of our Community nursing team in the Brisbane Metro area. The Clinical Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of quality nursing care including:
- IV medication administration,
- Subcutaneous medication administration and educational support,
- COVID and Flu vaccination
- Patient phone support.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
The role requires an experienced Registered Nurse who is motivated, flexible, and able to work independently with a strong focus on customer service and quaility in service. More specifically, you will have the following essential criteria;
- AHPRA Registration (Registered Nurse) with no limitations, restrictions or notations
- Minimum of 5 years post registration clinical experience
- Evidence of cannulation competency
- Proficient clinical assessment skills
- Flexibility in being able to work autonomously and participate in a remote team environment
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence (C class)
- Ability to undertake local travel as required
- Current Working With Children clearance (WWCC/Blue Card)
- CVAD Port Accreditation
- Post graduate qualifications in a relevant field of nursing i.e. ED, ICU, Oncology, Community Nursing
