Role description
Dhelkaya Health are currently seeking an experience Registered Nurse to join the Community Nursing Services team. The Registered Nurse will deliver quality nursing care to our in-home and community nursing clients via programs such as District Nursing service, HITH and community Palliative Care. These programs operate extended hours 7 days per week. The Registered Nurse is involved in the provision of expert nursing care to allocated clients, advocating for clients providing health education, promoting health, assisting clients with goal achievement and working with other health care providers to ensure coordinated care for clients.
The role requires nurses who have the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with other health care workers; capacity to prioritise patient care, escalate patient care and be flexible to meet the demands of a changing day to day business.
Experience working in community settings will be highly regarded. You may also be required to work in alternate campus locations.
A current driver's licence is essential.
About you
To be successful you need to have greater than three years nursing experience with a high level of written and verbal communication skills and excellent time management skills. You will have advanced assessment and problem-solving skills.
