About the role:
Our Home Care Workers play a crucial role in ensuring a positive client experience. You’ll provide high quality care, companionship, and emotional support to residents to help support their independence and improve their quality of life by enhancing their psychological, spiritual, social, and physical well-being in our client’s home.
The key responsibilities include personal care, domestic assistance, shopping, transport, social support, respite care and the recording of thorough documentation.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Minimum Certificate III in Aged Care, Home and Community Care.
- Previous experience working in Home Care/Aged Care/disability industry is highly desirable.
- Passion for enhancing the lives of older people and an understanding the needs of people living with dementia.
- Respectful approach that supports people based on their choices.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team, as well as the confidence to work independently.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills, Greek speaking is desirable.
- Current driver’s license and fully insured reliable vehicle.
- Current First Aid Certificate and CPR
